Orozco-Estrada takes over from Welser-Möst

After Franz Welser-Möst's cancellation,  Andrés Orozco-Estrada will make his debut with the Webern Symphonie Orchester at the Wiener Musikverein on Thursday, 27 March, conducting Mahler's Symphony No. 2 in c Minor. The Webern Symphonie Orchestra is the prestigious orchestra of the Music and Performing Arts Department of the University of Vienna, and regularly collaborates with such celebrated guest conductors as Riccardo Muti, Pierre Boulez, Sir Colin Davis, Claudio Abbado, Zubin Mehta, amongst others.

Soloists will be Malin Hartelius (Soprano) and Elizabeth DeShong (Alto). Choir: "Singverein Wien".
