New Spotlight with Frankfurt Radio Symphony!
After the first edition, it was a huge success: The concert series "Spotlight" with Andrés Orozco-Estrada, which gives the audience the chance to get to know a classical masterpiece in a very special way based on historical backgrounds and anecdotes: this time Igor Stravinsky's ballet music "The Firebird". The premiere of the "Firebird" in 1910 in Paris was a sensation and for the young Russian Stravinsky the start to his career.
The chief conductor even invites the audience to bring small instruments with them to play along. "Together with my comments and the interactions with the audience and the musicians, it will be very special, I would say, a magical evening," promises Orozco-Estrada. "Together we will make the fairy tale of the 'Firebird' unforgettable."
